Stuart Siegel completed his clinical internship at St. John’s Rehabilitation Hospital, a hospital specializing in post surgical care for patients with catastrophic injuries. Currently, Dr. Siegel practices as a clinician in the treatment of those suffering from catastrophic impairments resultant from motor vehicle accident injuries as well as treatment for the aging population and those with physical impairments. Dr. Siegel is certified in the American Medical Associations Guide to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairments (4th Edition). He has worked as part of a multidisciplinary health care team in assessing and determining Catastrophic Impairments of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents. He has written over 1000 insurance examination reports. He is a certified Arcon Assessor with expertise in performing Functional Assessment Evaluations. He is a certified Aging in Place Specialist, and has a special interest in home modifications for the aging and disabled.
Michael Vizel completed his doctor of Medicine Degree at the University of McGill in 1990. Upon completion of his Medical Degree, he attended the University of Toronto where he obtained training in Internal Medicine in 1994. Dr. Vizel has been working in a private setting as a General Physician since 1994 in a multidisciplinary medical clinic where he has been providing care to the general population. He is an experienced Ontario SABS section 42 and 24 assessor and has special interests in the assessment of individuals who have sustained catastrophic impairments as a result of motor vehicle accidents.
Sabrina Anand graduated from the University of Toronto as an occupational therapist. She is registered to practice in Ontario and is an active member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists. She has expertise in equipment assessment and prescription, in-home functional assessment and treatment, barrier-free design, functional abilities evaluation, catastrophic impairment determination, future care assessment and on-site job assessment. She works with a diverse range of patients including soft tissue injuries, orthopaedic injuries and spinal cord injuries and she performs adult and paediatric rehabilitation in community and institutional settings.
Earnest Hodgson is a registered architect actively involved in the practice of architecture for custom homes and commercial projects with a special interest in the area of barrier-free design. Earnest has over 20 years of experience practicing architecture with a special interest in the fields of barrier-free design and universal design. Earnest is well versed on the Ontario Building code regulations with respect to the National Standards of Canada Accessible Design for the Built Environment (CAN/CSA-B651-04) and “Design Options for Barrier Free and Adaptable Housing” as developed by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Earnest’s technical responsibilities include project development, architectural design, graphic design and illustration, 3-D image rendering, technical writing and facility auditing.
